If you could identify it, you could track it!

The Den-Con Electronics "Print" System is a unique, proven method for drilling contractors, operators, and rental tool companies to...

  • Better maintain assets
  • Track downhole equipment and rig components
  • Control Inventories
  • Reduce operating costs
  • Save time
  • Meet new API/ISO standards for traceability
  • Accurate item history
  • Below rig floor readers
  • Portable hand-held readers
  • Above rig floor fixed readers

The Den-Con "Print" System is a non-visual method of identifying and tracking equipment and other assets in harsh environments. A harsh environment would be conditions such as extreme heat, pressure, erosion, corrosion, vibration, paint, dirt, grease, oil, or other such debris.

Additionally, the system has many uses in non-harsh environments where non-visual identification may be necessary or desired. These include identification cards, hidden ID numbers on vehicles or equipment or any other application where visual identification such as nameplates, metal-stamped numbers, or bar codes will not work.

The Den-Con "Print" System technology is based on Radio Frequency (RF) technology. This application of low frequency and power is called Radio Frequency Identification or RFID. This system will allow users to track any equipment item or tubular item. Items such as...

  • Blow-out Preventers
  • Pipe handling tools
  • Hoisting equipment
  • Valves
  • Drill pipe
  • Drill collars
  • Subs
  • Fishing tools
  • Vehicles
  • Personnel

Den-Con utilizes the latest RFID Technology including SAW High Frequency Tags and Readers in addition to conventional Low Frequency equipment. Den-Con holds 17 U.S. and Foreign patents related to applications and use of RFID for the Energy Industry. Additional patents are pending.

Consider the possibilities of tagging and tracking these valuable assets without the need for visual confirmation.
